Today our sweet pea is 5 months old! Where has the time gone? It’s kind of hard to believe that she’s been here for five months. Actually, it either seems like she’s been here forever and she just got here all at the same time.

I know I didn’t post a 4 month update, so I’ll post her stats from that in this post. She was 12lbs, 8oz and 24.5 inches long, which is pretty petite. And really petite compared to her brother. We had a doctor’s appointment a week or so ago to follow up on her RSV and she was up to 13lbs, 5oz, so I’d guess she’s around that weight now. I think she’s teething a bit, too. She drools a lot and bites everything that comes near her mouth – plus, her bottom gums feel rough like something is breaking through. Other than that, she’s sitting up a bit here and there before toppling over, sleeping well at night, napping well and eating banana oatmeal in the mornings like it’s her job. She’s actually pretty funny to feed – she makes “mmm” noises the entire time she’s eating and gets mad when it’s all gone. 🙂
